Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 5, 2026

Go Indigo, LLC ("Go Indigo," "we," "us," or "our") operates Indigo, a personal organizer for tasks, notes, records, persons, calendar, and documents (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to goindigo.io and the Indigo application.

1. Who we are

Go Indigo, LLC is the controller of personal data processed through the Service. We are based in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. You can reach us at support@goindigo.io.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and profile image provided by Google Sign-In when you create an account.
  • Google integration data — when you connect Google Calendar or Google Drive, we access events, files, and metadata you explicitly authorize so the integration can function.
  • Content you create — tasks, notes, records, persons, tags, matters, and any other content you enter into the Service.
  • Support communications — messages you send us by email or in the app.
  • Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, and basic telemetry needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Payment data — billing is handled by our payment processor Paddle. We receive limited transaction information (plan, status, last four digits of the card) but never your full card details.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service (legal basis: performance of a contract).
  • To authenticate you and secure your account (legitimate interest, contract).
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legitimate interest).
  • To send transactional emails such as reminders, receipts, and service notices (contract).
  • To respond to support requests (legitimate interest, contract).
  • To improve the Service, debug issues, and analyze aggregated usage (legitimate interest).
  • To comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).

4. Google user data

Indigo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only access Google Calendar and Google Drive data to provide features you have asked for. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it except (a) with your explicit consent, (b) for security or to comply with the law, or (c) where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

5. How we share your data

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients:

  • Subprocessors — hosting, database, email delivery, and error-monitoring providers acting on our instructions.
  • Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record for sale of the Service, subscription management, payment processing, tax calculation, and invoicing.
  • Google — for the Google Calendar and Google Drive integrations you choose to connect.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and insurance advisers when reasonably necessary.
  • Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Successors — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period unless we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, least-privilege permissions, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email support@goindigo.io. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection rules than your country. We rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

10. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies (and equivalent local storage) needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice before the changes take effect. The "Effective date" at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
